SCT Staff & NAFA Members helping rebuild New Orleans

SCT Fleet Solutions staff rolled up their sleeves last week to help with a Habitat for Humanity project in New Orleans. The house is 1 of 300+ Habitat homes being built for residents effected by hurricane Katrina in 2005. "When we heard NAFA (NAFA Fleet Management Association) had arranged to help out with a Habitat build in New Orleans during their annual Expo, our staff immediately volunteered. There is no better feeling then helping make someones life better, and that is exactly what Habitat for Humanity does. We were proud to be involved." said Charlie Mahoney, Sales manager for SCT Fleet Solutions.

Police Department see's significant increase in fuel economy

Faced with rising fuel & operating costs, Longwood Police Chief Tom Jackson needed a fuel economy solution that would not effect the performance of his agencies patrol vehicles. Working with SCT Fleet Solutions, Chief Jackson implemented SCT's Fuel Saving Solution on his fleet of 65 vehicles. "...we have seen a significant increase in our fuel mileage, in some cases as much as 3 miles to the gallon" he states.
